I’ve been writing since I can remember.  My first writing memory is from the first grade.  We were given a set of ten spelling words.  All we had to do was use each word in a sentence.  I took it a step further.  I would combine all the words and use them in a story.  Sometimes I would even draw pictures.  I always wondered why the teacher gave me funny looks when I passed in my assignment.

My main writing genre is woman’s fiction.  I have recently completed a memoir and am currently working on a prequel to my memoir as well as a screenplay.  In addition I have also written numerous short stories, poetry and essays.

As a writer I am available for freelance assignments, including ghostwriting and collaborating.

I’m a married mother of one and live in central Massachusetts.  Before becoming a full-time writer I spent 20 years working within the insurance industry.  Although it paid the bills, it was never “me”.  In addition to writing, my other passions include cooking, travel, music, reading and spending time with my family.  I also have two cats named Clarence and Bruce.

My sole intention is to keep writing until I cannot write any longer.  In doing so I hope to entertain many people with my writing, as well as offer my assistance to anyone I may be able to help.

Thanks for visiting my site.  Take a look around and peruse some of my writing.  If you’d like more information about me, have comments, would like to inquire about working with me, or just want to say “hi”, feel free to complete the contact form.  I will try to respond as quickly as I can.

Hey, great story! I don’t know of too many writers who didn’t have to “pay the bills” with a job while developing their writing skills and contacts. It’s something like actors have to do.

Thank you for visiting and please come back again! Enjoy your Thanksgiving as well.
