Ferris Bueller – The Righteous Dude

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the release of one of the 80’s most iconic films, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”.

Every kid wanted to either be Ferris or be friends with him.  Sportos, motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, dickheads–they all adored him.  They thought he was a righteous dude.

But that’s okay because Abe Froman, the Sausage King of Chicago thought Ferris was righteous.

Even this guy thought he was righteous:

He wasn’t just repeating his name for roll call, you know 🙂

Ferris convinced this guy to get out of bed:

I'm a writer. I'm also a wife and a parent who works too much and lives too little. In addition to writing I also love to read, listen to music, travel, cook, I enjoy looking for bargains at flea markets or thrift stores, Christmas, football and of course writing! How did I come up with the title of my blog? Two things: 1. I live in New England (duh) and 2. Canadian singer Alan Frew once arrogantly told me to "get a New England life"--again--DUH! I already HAVE one!

Tell me what you think!
