He’s the 48-year-old Living In Mommy’s Basement

Do you know the 48-year-old man who still lives in his mother’s basement?

You do if you have been berated by him on Craigslist. You do if he’s told you to kill yourself. You know him if he’s stalked you on Facebook.

I’ll let you in on a secret about the 48-year-old man who lives in his mother’s basement. He’s the biggest loser you’ll ever know. And I don’t mean by weight, because thin he isn’t. In fact, he’s grotesquely obese and will probably die before he’s 50. He’s diabetic but sells his test strips on EBay to get money for drugs.

Speaking of drugs, the 48-year-old man living in his mother’s basement is not only a pot head, he’s a heroin addict. He has Hep C from all his shooting up. He’s done time in jail for drugs and bragged about it on social media. He’s OD’d from drugs. Unfortunately he was saved. He just lost the alleged “love of his life” from a heroin overdose. Like him, she too lived in her mother’s basement. Like him she was a loser.

The 48-year-old man who lives in his mother’s basement has no job, has no car, has no life. But he can tell you about any movie on Netflix because he watches TV all day.

The 48-year-old man who lives in his mother’s basement will lie to you. He takes advantage of his parents and makes his mother cry by yelling at her. Yet she let’s him stay living in her basement.

The 48-year-old who lives in his mother’s basement makes derogatory comments about disabled people he doesn’t know. We all know losers like him need to do that to make themselves feel better. The disabled people enjoy their lives. They’re the biggest joy. Unlike the 48-year-old man who lives in his mother’s basement who is nothing but a worthless piece of shit. He isn’t even a contributor to society. He just takes up space.

If you know the 48-year-old man who lives in his mother’s basement, do yourself a favor and run, don’t walk, away from him.

I'm a writer. I'm also a wife and a parent who works too much and lives too little. In addition to writing I also love to read, listen to music, travel, cook, I enjoy looking for bargains at flea markets or thrift stores, Christmas, football and of course writing! How did I come up with the title of my blog? Two things: 1. I live in New England (duh) and 2. Canadian singer Alan Frew once arrogantly told me to "get a New England life"--again--DUH! I already HAVE one!
