THE WRITER
Someone once asked me how long I’ve been writing. The best answer I could think of giving was “since I could put the pen to paper”.
After working within Corporate America for 20 years I had the opportunity to do freelance work. I’ve lent my writing talents to everything from resumes, business plans, public relations, mission statements and websites.
My main genre is women’s fiction. Some of my works include a memoir, screenplays, many short stories, some non-fiction works, essays and poetry. I am currently working on a novella and another blog about my experiences in raising a child on the autism spectrum.

THE PERSON
I’ve been married for 24 years to my best friend Michael. Our 15-year-old daughter has Asperger’s and we are her biggest advocates. She has inspired me so much in many things I do, especially my writing.
I’m proud to call New England, namely Massachusetts, my home. I have lived here all my life and wouldn’t want it any other way.
Fun facts about me: I have had three different last names but I’ve only been married once, I was once very indirectly related to the Kennedy family and I live in the youngest town in Massachusetts. Big party coming up in 2020!
My hobbies include music, travel, cooking, movies, Christmas and spending time with my family. I also have two cats named Clarence and Bruce. And yes, I am a Springsteen fan.

THE FUTURE
Abraham Lincoln once said “The best way to predict your future is to create it”. Based on that statement, I guess you could say that’s why I’m a writer.
What does the future hold for me? Could be a lot of things. The possibilities are endless.
Feel free to peruse my blogs. Let me know what you think, as I value any kind of feedback. Thank you for visiting.
