Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, tomorrow, April 8, there’s going to be a total eclipse of the sun. Maybe someday there really will be a total eclipse of the heart. But I digress…
Considering we’ve been hearing about this for, what, months? Why is it that suddenly people are running around looking for the special sunglasses they need to safely watch it? Today I was in a store and at least three customers asked about the glasses and were told to try “Cumberland’s or Big Lots”. And I doubt either of those places have them either.
These must be the same people who wait to the 11th hour to buy their Christmas gifts.
Oh well, you snooze, you lose (your sight, that is). Just don’t look at the sun. Better yet, don’t even look out the window. Chances are with the many places due to have some kind of cloud cover, the grand event isn’t going to be so grand for many.
