Election Day

Election Day

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5.

If you are not one of the nearly 60 million people who have already voted, then plan to vote.

But vote wisely. Vote like your life depends on it. Because it does.

Think about how you want your life and the lives of your loved ones to be for the next four years. Do you want to live in fear of losing your health insurance? Your social security? Your very freedom to choose reproductive care? Your very freedom to speak your mind? Do you want to live in fear of being pregnant and worrying about what will happen if you miscarry? Do you want to live in fear of being pregnant, not wanting to be pregnant, and not being able to do anything about it? Guys, do you want to live in fear of getting your partner (or one-night stand, whatever) pregnant and then being forced to support a child you do not want, simply because, although both you and the woman you impregnate want an abortion, you can’t get one. Because there won’t be any more birth control either. Do you want to be forced to give birth to a non-viable fetus, one you know is non-viable, and suffer the trauma that will come with it? Do you want to live in an unhealthy country that bans the use of vaccines to protect you from disease?

Do you want to see your neighbors and co-workers deported because of their religion, nationality or color of their skin? Do you want to see your children’s education interrupted because there is no Department of Education to support them?

Do you want to go to the store to buy a (insert any imported item, including food) and wonder how much more it’s going to cost because of a fucking tariff? Because the tariff isn’t going to affect the country the product is made in one bit. IT WILL AFFECT YOU! Do you want to go to the store to buy any locally produced item (including food) and wonder how much more it’s going to cost? Because there will be an extra cost to that as well. Because with the tariff thing, it will trickle down even to the locals.

Do you want to live in a country that will have no hurricane or tornado warnings? Because NOAA will not exist. Do you want to live in a country that will offer no assistance when there is a hurricane or tornado? Because FEMA won’t exist either.

Do you want to wake up every day and wonder what new shit SHITHOLE will be spewing about whatever. Take your pick: Hannibal, sharks, batteries, his hair, protecting women that don’t need protecting from a rapist felon.

Do you want a 34-charged (and counting) felon who is also a racist, sexist, fascist, demented, narcissist to represent you as an American?

Do you want someone who threatens people who don’t like him, including political opponents, everyday citizens (such as myself) and reporters? Do you want someone who berates other states or cities and refers to them as “garbage” and even refers to the entire country as a “garbage can for the world” then ironically rides around in a garbage truck like a fucking idiot?

Because he is one. Among many other things.

I could go on and on. But it’s your choice. And we should be glad there is a choice other than a SHITHOLE candidate who is clearly running to keep his ass out of prison and doesn’t give a sweet mighty fuck about anyone in this country (including his supporters).

We can choose Kamala Harris for President of the United States, who is for ALL Americans (even SHITHOLE, believe it or not because yeah, sadly, she’d be representing him too). We can choose hope over despair. Joy over misery. Freedom over imprisonment (which is something SHITHOLE wants to do to anyone he doesn’t like, including everyday citizens). Love over fear.

The decision is yours and something you have to live with. Choose wisely.

Democracy Doesn’t Just Die in Darkness

Democracy Doesn’t Just Die in Darkness

The Washington Post endorses Kamala Harris. There. I said it.

I said it because it was revealed yesterday that at the beginning of the month The Post had drafted an endorsement for Harris. Therefore, an actual endorsement exists. But because the owner of the Post, Jeff Bezos, is a coward narcissist afraid of the other coward narcissist (SHITHOLE), the endorsement was nixed and was not publicly made. So The Post has said they aren’t endorsing any candidate. Which has rightfully pissed insiders at The Post off (writers, editors, etc.) to the point of resignment and has pissed consumers off to the point of unsubscribing (which surprised many to learn that anybody even still subscribed to it). Because technically, The Post is endorsing Harris. It’s mainly Bezos who isn’t endorsing anyone. But he’s probably already voted for Harris because we know how he really feels about SHITHOLE.

And of course, because of Bezos’s ties to Amazon, people are indicating they are dropping Prime or will not shop Amazon any longer. Bezos has not been the CEO of Amazon since 2021 and owns a mere nine percent of the business. Amazon is mostly made up of small businesses selling their wares. So, if you stop shopping on Amazon, which is your choice, of course, you’re not really hurting Bezos. You’re hurting small business owners. And personally, when I cannot find an item anywhere else, Amazon has always had it. I have been able to find some extremely obscure items I couldn’t find anywhere else on Amazon. They often have Amazon exclusives that you’re not going to be able to get at Walmart.

The Post is famous for their saying “Democracy Dies in Darkness”. But Democracy doesn’t just die in darkness. It dies when you don’t VOTE. You don’t need an endorsement from a newspaper, famous person, famous animal or whatever to simply make up your own fucking mind and VOTE. An “endorsement” from something or someone simply tells people that thing or person supports such-and-such candidate. It doesn’t mean everyone working for that business (The Post, Amazon, etc.) is going to vote for such-and-such candidate. It doesn’t mean everyone that listens to so-and-so’s music is going to vote for the candidate they endorse. In fact, it’s very possible the owner of the business or the famous person won’t even vote at all. It’s like the little blurbs on the back of books from other famous authors or editors: “A real page-turner” or “You won’t be able to put this book down”. They too are endorsements but also are simply opinions. I’ve read many books that I thought were terrible although they had great “blurbs” on the back.

So don’t take the fact that The Post isn’t endorsing Harris (or anyone) to heart. Because, again, since they already wrote an endorsement, which I know we will eventually see, they technically ARE endorsing Harris.

With the free-falling mental decline of SHITHOLE, many on social media are fearing that the big plan (of the GOP, I guess?) is to have SHITHOLE win, and then have SHITHOLE (or someone, I guess?) declare him nutso and incompetent to be “President”, get him out using the 25th Amendment (which would have to be passed by Congress) and then SHITHOLE Jerkoff Dipshit takes over. And they fear this because Jerkoff lives and breathes by Project 2025. Not that SHITHOLE doesn’t. It’s just that Jerkoff seems to care more about it than SHITHOLE does.

Although these fears are valid and I have also felt that Jerkoff is more interested in being “President” than “Vice President”, if SHITHOLE won, he wouldn’t just hand over the reins to Jerkoff, even if he was on his deathbed. Here’s why:

  1. SHITHOLE knows if he isn’t “President” his ass is going to prison. Why do you think he’s running for “President” in the first place? It sure as hell isn’t to run a country he can’t stand.
  2. SHITHOLE is a narcissist. He isn’t going to give anything up willingly. Even if he’s nuts. Even if Congress passed the 25th, can you imagine what it would be like getting him physically removed?

But when we go to the polls to vote, be it before or on November 5, we need to keep these fears and facts in mind. There is clearly something cognitively wrong with SHITHOLE. There’s no denying that. It would be unfair to ourselves as Americans to vote for him. We deserve so much more.

As a reminder, immediately after January 6, 2021, SHITHOLE’s own cabinet tried to invoke the 25th:
