Someone or someones on social media decided to float the rumor of a trucker’s strike starting October 1 in relation to diesel fuel prices.

There is no truth to this rumor. Most logical people realize you can’t have a trucker’s strike because there are approximately 2.2 million trucking companies registered in the United States as of 2026. There may be a trucker’s union but each of their companies are individually run. When a strike happens, it’s usually employees of Company XYZ striking for better wages, more time off, better accommodations, etc. They aren’t all going to strike because diesel prices have gone up. Because what good would that do them? They wouldn’t be getting paid and the price of diesel isn’t going to go down any time soon. And we all have only one person to blame for that: SHITHOLE

In truth, the real concern should be truckers not being able to work due to there no longer being any diesel fuel at all. Because that’s where it’s headed. And no amount of striking is going to change that.
