We can speculate until the cows come home as to who wrote the anonymous op-ed piece for the New York Times. We didn’t know who Deep Throat was either but eventually learned his identity. We’ll find out soon enough.
But I feel the real point of the article is that the writer, someone high up in the SHITHOLE “administration”, is not very happy with what’s happening before their eyes. Join the club.
What bothers me, but does not surprise me, is the contradictions and hypocrisy in the article. And the fact this person won’t do anything to save his country.
In one paragraph it states: “To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.”
Then the very next paragraph reads:
“But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.”
If you want the SHITHOLE “administration” to “succeed”, how can you put your first duty to this country? Because SHITHOLE doesn’t believe in our country. Especially when you also say SHITHOLE “acts in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic”. I’d also like to know what “policies” have already made America safer and more prosperous. Until you do something about the NRA and create gun reform, America will never be safe. And if you think your great big “tax reform” and tariffs are making us prosperous, you’re not as intelligent as I first thought.
“Don’t get me wrong. There are bright spots that the near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration fails to capture: effective deregulation, historic tax reform, a more robust military and more.
But these successes have come despite — not because of — the president’s leadership style, which is impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective.”
So, in other words this person is saying that although SHITHOLE reversed everything Obama did because he’s a petty jealous man, it all happened not really because he did it. Also, we’re still waiting for the effective deregulation, any kind of good tax reform, where EVERYONE benefits, and our military isn’t any more robust than it’s ever been. Plus SHITHOLE hates our military. And this anonymous author failed to mention the thousands of children taken from their parents, many of whom still have yet to be reunited.
All thanks to SHITHOLE.
The biggest and scariest piece of hypocrisy:
“Given the instability many witnessed, there were early whispers within the cabinet of invoking the 25th Amendment, which would start a complex process for removing the president. But no one wanted to precipitate a constitutional crisis. So we will do what we can to steer the administration in the right direction until — one way or another — it’s over.”
You know he’s mentally unstable. You complain about him enough to write an anonymous article. Yet you don’t do anything about it. Why? So you can keep a job? For what? You don’t want a “constitutional crisis”. You’re already done. All of you are done. None of you will ever work in the political world ever again. Shit, you’re going to have way more than a “crisis” on your hands when this shit show is through.
There is nothing anonymous about this person. They know who they are. The Times knows. This person is nothing special. But the question remains what does this person want for America? Because this person can bitch all they want about a situation they put themselves into, something they accepted, something unlike the rest of America, has control over and can do something directly about but won’t. Whatever happens to this person, and something will, have no pity. They, like the rest of the SHITHOLE “administration”, deserve everything they get.
