Thirty-four states, 1645 confirmed cases, 5100 suspected cases and 141 hospitalizations later and a recall of iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms has finally been issued.

It’s about fucking time.

Unfortunately, I don’t think recalling the lettuce will be the end of it. For one thing, the recall has been issued for 27 states. Yet the cyclospora outbreak was found in thirty-four states. Also, what about the onions, parsley, basil and other herbs that were initially mentioned as part of the outbreak? What happened to the raspberries and strawberries?
